MAM RS3 Resonator

This rack effects unit accepts a mono input only but subsequent processing using three Vactrol based resonant band pass filters produces a stereo out. A vactrol is like a voltage controlled resistor - there's a photo-sensitive resistor and an LED encapsulated in a package. There are two LFOs whose rate is determined by a single control with the second LFO rate running 30% faster than the first. There's also a three band envelope follower also getting in on the act and three modes of LFO to filter control.

Demos
This demo features my JX-10 using a patch with Osc sync for loads of harmonics. I start off with no effect and it's very obvious when the resonator is switched in :)
- Download a demo mp3 of the Music and More RS3 resonator 2.04MB 192kbit.
This demo features my JX-10 being sequenced by an MSQ-700 using a bass patch and a strings patch for that classic vintage sound. Uneffected sequence first and towards the end I switch it out too.
- Download a second demo mp3 of the Music and More RS3 resonator 3.47MB 192kbit.
This demo features a Chamberlin violin sample from my Emulator IIIXP and has a Mysterious Semblance to the Tangerine Dream track Mysterious Semblance at the Strand of Nightmares on their Phaedra album. Perhaps Edgar Froese had an RS3 back in 1974?
- Phaedreams 2.57MB 128kbit.
This demo features the Chamberlin violin sample from my Emulator IIIXP again but with a less aggressive use of the RS3.
- Phaedreams 2 1.73MB 128kbit.
This demo features the Chamberlin brass sample from my Emulator IIIXP.
- Phaedreams 3 1.51MB 128kbit.
This demo features the Chamberlin flute sample from my Emulator IIIXP.
